Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to visit the Hackney Flea Market Ltd, which was not just located in Hackney, but also in various event spaces across London, on random dates. As a vintage enthusiast, I was excited to explore what the market had to offer. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the market provided vintage marketers with an affordable space to sell and buy unique objects and personal treasures. What I found most interesting about the market was the eclectic array of items available for purchase. From vintage furniture to lighting fixtures, intriguing objects, and even the occasional unexpected treasure, there was something for everyone. The market not only attracts the local community but also a significant number of tourists, showcasing the city’s vibrant flamboyance and inclusivity. As I walked around the market, I talked to many sellers as well as buyers, and I was amazed by the amount of furniture that I had previously only seen in books. Seeing everything up close and in person was incredible, as it allowed me to appreciate the small details and things that cannot be appreciated in a photograph. Overall, my experience at the Hackney Flea Market Ltd was truly unforgettable.

Following my visit today, I spent several hours delving deeper into my research. The visit had given me the opportunity to see a plethora of new objects that I had never laid my eyes on before, and I was brimming with ideas about how I could incorporate them into my project. I spent time researching materials, shapes, and colors, and considered how each could contribute to my final product. I wanted to ensure that my project would be both aesthetically pleasing and practical. As I worked, I also reflected on the emotions I wanted to evoke in people who would see or use my product. I wanted to create something that would leave a lasting impression and bring joy to those who interacted with it.
